IV.B. November 2024 Break the Mold Recipient, Darrell Stahl, District HVAC Technician
Rationale

November’s Break The Mold award winner is District HVAC Technician Darrell Stahl.  This means Darrell is responsible for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning, keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the summer. In this video you learn about Darrell’ skill set and knowledge base, his attitude and disposition, the very things that make him worthy of Break The Mold.

IV.C. GoTeachKY Ambassadors
Rationale

The Kentucky Department of Education has named the new class of ambassadors for the GoTeachKY initiative. The mission of GoTeachKY is to ensure that all students across the Commonwealth have equitable access to effective educators. GoTeachKY seeks to recruit the next generation of teachers in Kentucky, helping remedy the critical teacher shortage that affects every state in the U.S.                 Boone County Schools has two of the 21 GoTeachKY ambassadors for 2025.  Hayley Dant of Cooper High School and Sarah Webster of Camp Ernst Middle School. Congratulations ladies, please come forward.

IV.D. Cowherd Center for Excellence Award - Kathy Oehler, Family Resource Center Coordinator at North Pointe Elementary School
Rationale

Family Resource Center Coordinator Kathy Oehler at North Pointe Elementary School is the recipient of the 2024 Harry J. Cowherd award for Center Excellence.  The Harry J. Cowherd Award is the Divisions’ most prestigious award honoring a center which truly excelled in the crucial role of serving kids and families. The is a state level award given to only one center a year which has demonstrated excellence above & beyond its expected center operations.
