IV.A. March 2026 Break The Mold award winner is Ryan Basford, Business Teacher at Boone County High School
Rationale

The Break The Mold award winner for March is Boone County High School Business Teacher Ryan Basford.  Mr. Basford brings his corporate America knowledge and experience to the classroom. He believes students should be better prepared for how to conduct themselves in the business world as well as how to handle their personal business with ease once they graduate from high school.

IV.B. Career and Technical Education Video
Rationale

One of the fastest-growing sectors in today’s economy is science, technology and healthcare. The Boone County Schools District has heavily invested in several Career and Technical Education pathways to prepare our students for both college and careers by combining academic knowledge with technical skills and real-world application.  This month we focus on the Biomedical Pathway at Conner High School.

IV.C. Anne Frank Exhibit
Rationale

Ballyshannon Middle School is hosting the professionally curated exhibit, Anne Frank: A History for Today.  They also have an Anne Frank Museum that contextualizes Anne Frank’s story within the broader history of the holocaust connecting the past to the present.  It is open to the public next Thursday March 19th and Wednesday March 25th at Ballyshannon Middle School.
