1. Superior Titan Award- A student from each school (Mercer Elementary, Mercer Co. Intermediate School, King Middle, and Mercer County Senior High School) will be recognized each month at the board of education meetings for their efforts in the classroom, leadership skills and attitude. The student award recipient must meet the following guidelines:

  • Perfect attendance during the month student(s) are being observed.
  • Completed all homework assignments and tests.
  • Passing grade.
  • No discipline issues.
  • Demonstrates good leadership skills.
  • Exhibits a winning attitude and spirit toward learning and peers.

At the moment there are 12 track athletes who have qualified for the Adidas Outdoor National Meet which is held in Greensboro, NC at North Carolina A&T. They would be traveling by a rental van on Thursday, June 18 and returning on Monday, June 22, 2026. Coach Lynn Flach and their parents will be with the students during this time.

Track booster club has been fundraising to pay for the students entry fees, rental van, gas, and housing.

The last few years the HS Wrestling team has been invited to compete in a Norwood HS Wrestling tournament put on by a college teammate of Coach Brandon Sellers. Norwood HS is a suburb of Cincinnati. Last year, we had several kids place at the tournament.
