Superintendent Brady's Summative Evaluation Statement (Attachment #2)
The Marion County Board of Education has completed its first annual evaluation of Superintendent Chris Brady for the 2022-2023 school year. We, as board members, commend Mr. Brady on a strong first year as the leader of Marion County Public Schools. Superintendent Brady has exhibited outstanding leadership in ushering our district through multiple construction projects. He also shone as a strong advocate for our community with legislators and state leaders.
The evaluation focused on two of the seven standards of performance - Instructional and Human Resource Leadership. Superintendent Brady successfully met expectations in the area of Instructional Leadership; exceeded expectations for Human Resource Leadership; and, exceeded expectations for overall leadership and performance.
The Marion County Board of Education wants to maintain a strong focus on academic achievement and will work with Superintendent Brady to establish goals for district improvement and growth. We cannot imagine a stronger person to lead our district in the pursuit of academic excellence for years to come.
