Mr. Truman Padgett introduced the EHS Beta Club and gave a brief report of their State Beta Convention.

Mr. Padgett also introduced Mr. Jake Hubbard who designed a graphic to represent the school district at the recent Kentucky School Board Association Convention.

Discussion

Mr. Chuck Jewell gave a brief presentation to the Board regarding the IT Department. Mr. Jewell wished to thank the Board, Administration and staff for their support of the Technology Department. Mr. Jewell offered to answer Board questions.

Mr. Mullins thanked Mr. Jewell and the Technology Department for all of their hard work this year. 


VIII.B. Department Update - ESL

Discussion

Mr. Alfredo Silva and Taleen Odabashian shared a presentation to the Board about the District's ESL and ELL Programs and the outstanding accomplishments of our students. Mr. Cain Alvey said the ESL/ELL Student Population has jumped tremendously in the last few years.

Mr. Mullins gave a brief update. He said he was thrilled to be able to attend the JROTC Ball last weekend and was very impressed by the EHS JROTC Program.
