Motion Passed:  Approve Road Equipment Resolution #2015-12 OHIO COUNTY FISCAL COURT RESOLUTION NO. 12 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONSUMMATION OF A LOAN IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000 FROM THE GREEN RIVER AREA DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ROAD DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF VARIOUS DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SUCH A LOAN AND AUTHORIZING OTHER ACTIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. WHEREAS, the Ohio County Fiscal Court, Kentucky (the "County") has heretofore determined to purchase law enforcement vehicles (the "Improvements"); and WHEREAS, the County desires to finance the Improvements by a loan from Green River Area Development District ("GRADD") in the principal amount of $250,000, with such loan to be secured by a pledge of revenues from the County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OHIO COUNTY FISCAL COURT: Section 1. Recitals and Authorization. The County hereby approves the acceptance of a loan from GRADD in a principal amount not to exceed $250,000, in substantially the form presented to this governing body, which such changes herein not inconsistent to this Resolution and not materially adverse to the County as may be approved by the officer's execution the same on behalf of the County. The County Judge/Executive is hereby authorized to execute all certifications and agreements that may be necessary to accomplish the loan transaction. Section 2. Conflicts. All ordinances, resolutions, municipal orders, and parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect from and after passage and publication or distribution thereof as provided by law. INTRODUCED AND READ on the 10th day of February 2015, and upon motion duly made and seconded, this Resolution was adopted passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Sam Small.
