DISCUSSION AND APPROVAL ITEMS
IV.B.1.
Consider to Approve to declare that the specified property abutting the Rangee Cemetery is surplus to the educational needs of the district as described in the current facility plan, and to declare that selling approximately one-half acre and further granting a 30’ wide access easement will not affect the integrity or usefulness of the remainder of the district’s property for educational needs; to authorize the Superintendent to obtain an appraisal of this property with a required deed restriction that it may only be used for accessing, maintaining, and expanding a cemetery and such use as is customary and incidental for interment and visitation; to enter into appropriate sale agreement for fair market value contingent on KDE approval; and to seek KDE approval.
