Athlete of the Month - McKenzie Sullivan
Dayton High School would like to recognize McKenzie Sullivan as the Athlete of the Month. McKenzie has stepped in as a team leader for Fast Pitch Softball and taken on an additional role as pitcher this year in three games despite never pitching before. McKenzie is a positive teammate and spreads enthusiasm for the sport while holding teammates accountable and providing leadership to the younger players. Congratulations McKenzie!

Artist of the Month - Emme Boyers
From Nick Simon:
I have chosen Emme Boyers as April's Artist of the Month. Emme has put a lot of work into learning the flute this year. I have been blown away by the progress she has made. The flute is one of the harder instruments to learn, especially as a beginning band student. While Emme was sometimes frustrated this school year, she has stuck it out and is one of the top players in the 7th Grade Band. I am so incredibly proud of the work she has done this school year, and I can't wait to see how she grows during her time in the Dayton Bands.
