Athlete of the Month - James McFarland
Dayton High School would like to honor James McFarland as our February Athlete of the Month. James has been a member of the bowling team for 6 years . This season, James has consistently placed in the top of the Unified Bowling tournaments and was the Region 5 runner up. James and his partner bowler represented Dayton at the Unified State Bowling championship on Feb 7th. Congratulations, James!

Artist of the Month - Emily Hall
From Nick Simon:
I have chosen Emily Hall as the Artist of the Month this month. Emily is one of the best musicians in the band. She is one of our quiet leaders. I can always count on Emily to do exactly what she is supposed to do. This is not just in the band room; for our musical this year, she has the role of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. She always comes to rehearsal with great energy and follows all directions given by the directors. She has been one of the first people to know her lines in all of the last three stage productions she has been a part of here at Dayton High School. I am very lucky to be able to work with Emily on a daily basis both as a Band Director and as a member of our Drama Club. I am very excited to see how Emily will continue to grow during her time here at Dayton High School.
