III.S.7. FY27 Working Budget Approval
Rationale

In accordance with Kentucky law (KRS 160.470) and KDE regulations, local school boards must formally approve a working budget annually by September 30. This document serves as an operational financial plan and should not be confused with actual final expenditures. Board approval ensures state compliance and grants administrative authority to execute spending for the 2026–2027 school year.
