4.C. Athlete of the Month - Lacey Holt
Rationale

Congratulations to Lacey Holt, The September Athlete of the Month.

Lacey is a member of the Varsity Soccer Team.  Throughout the month, Lacey has been ranked 2nd in Kentucky in saves, and is currently ranked number 3 in the state with 253 saves. Due to her performance, the team is ranked 2nd in the state for team goalkeeper saves. Lacey is also a team captain and has helped her teammates maintain a sense of family, the focus Coach Spitzer wanted to instill this season. Lacey attends classes at NKU as part of the YSA program for the second year in a row and continues to be a stellar student and positive reflection of Dayton High School's Student Athletic Program.

Rationale

Congratulations to Ashanti Smith, the September 2023 Artist of the month!

Ashanti stands out this month due to her dedication to trying her best on difficult projects, responsibility in cleaning up her classroom environment, and willingness to always help myself and her classmates. She is a leader in the classroom and is always on top of whatever the class is doing.
