Danielle noted that the senior class has received 110 college acceptance letters and $1,639,000 in scholarships so far this year. She also mentioned that there are 16 seniors college ready and 5 of which, are also career ready.

Mr. Dodd discussed his handout on the Middle and High School CERT scores from this year.

Mr. Duty discussed the LES MAP data from Fall 2015 to Winter 2015 and the long-term MAP data from Winter 2012 to Winter 2015. He also mentioned that students have currently read 9,797 AR books this year compared to 5,947 at this time last year and LES is now a RAMP certified school thanks to all the hard work of the school counselors.

• January 16 - Director of Teaching and Learning

Mr. Wolf noted that the COMPASS test will take place on February 4th, WorkKeys on February 23rd, ACT on March 1st, and KOSSA on March 17th. He also mentioned that the Jenson book study will continue on Thursday and Friday morning of this week and all first year teachers are in the midst of observing experienced teachers. The “takeaways” from these observations will be discussed at the February New Teacher Meeting.

Mr. Kinmon was not in attendance but Mr. Brewer gave a brief update on attendance. He noted that enrollment is at 864 and attendance is 95.33%.

Mrs. Howell noted that the Daycare is currently full and as a result they are getting another full-time employee to help out. She also mentioned that the "Book of the Week" program is in its 6th week and we have given out over 600 books so far this year to Dayton Preschoolers. Lastly, the December 1 count was submitted and Mrs. Howell briefly discussed some of that data.
