Consider Ordinance 27-2022 entitled AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE CITY OF OWENSBORO EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK CHAPTER 1000, SUBCHAPTER 1004, PAY CHART ENTITLED “PROFESSIONAL / TECHNICAL” THEREBY ADDING THE POSITION OF “COLLECTION SPECIALIST” AND REMOVING THE POSITION OF “ASSISTANT OCCUPATIONAL TAX ADMINISTRATOR”.
It is necessary to amend Chapter 1000, Subchapter 1004, in the Pay Chart entitled “Professional/Technical-Exempt”, “Professional/Technical-Non-Exempt”, and associated organizational charts to replace the position of "Assistant Occupational Tax Administrator” with the position of “Collection Specialist”.

Consider Municipal Order 44-2022 entitled A MUNICIPAL ORDER DECLARING THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 730 WALNUT STREET AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND DEED CONVEYING THE PROPERTY TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF OWENSBORO-DAVIESS COUNTY, INC.
The City owns certain real property located at 730 Walnut Street which is located in a Qualified Census Tract. The City has declared the property as surplus and now desires to transfer the property to Habitat for Humanity of Owensboro-Daviess County, Inc. so that Habitat for Humanity can construct a new residence on the Property.

OPEN PUBLIC FORUM
Members of the audience are invited to address the City Commission on any matter of public concern that was not on tonight’s agenda. Comments are limited to issues within the scope and responsibility of this Commission. Commission meetings are held to conduct city business for the benefit of Owensboro citizens and taxpayers.
At this time, anyone who wishes to address the City Commission please make their way to the podium to be recognized. Speakers must state their name and address for the Clerk’s record, and limit their remarks to three (3) minutes or less. Since the item is not on the agenda, no response is required from City staff or the Commission. The Mayor reserves the right to extend time to the speaker.
