Panther Report
Mr. Booher presented the Panther Report to the Council. He shared several achievements and events to celebrate and for which to plan. -Pikeville Independent named the #4 School District in Kentucky by Niche.com. -Pikeville Independent was named the #1 place to work in the same report. -Registration at PHS will be held on August 13th. -Approximately 75 students attended 7th Grade Orientation this summer. -Tuesday September 3rd will be the tentative date for Open House at PHS. -Teachers are set to receive ACT Mastery Prep training before this school year. -The Cooking Team will be competing at State Competition August 20th. -The Varsity Band was awarded a $22,500 grant to help with their program. -Several coaches attended the required CPR/AED training last week. -Rising Senior Jackson Hensley committed to Harvard University to play Football.
