Each January that follows an election year newly and reelcted board members are sworn into office. In the same meeting the Nelson County Board of Education elects a new chairperson and vice chairperson for the calendar year. These offices tradionally rotate among the board members to avoid placing an undue burden on any one member. At this time, we would like to accept nominations for these positions.
