Grandparent of the Year county essay winner- GES student, Mary Wiser, Classroom Teacher, Wendy Brady
MCHS Freshman Easton Beavers- Easton earned a spot in the Kentucky Music Educators Association Middle School All State Band. He was selected based off his audition where he competed with middle school students throughout the entire state. Only 12 percussionists were selected and he was in the top 10 snare drums. He almost doubly qualified on snare and mallet. He was within a few points from being accepted for mallets as well.
