Consider Municipal Order 8-2025 entitled A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR A FY2026 TRAINING FACILITY GRANT THROUGH THE KENTUCKY FIRE COMMISSION IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $4,000.00, THE PROCEEDS OF WHICH WILL BE UTILIZED BY THE CITY OF OWENSBORO TO PAY THE COST OF A CLASS B BURN PAN TRAINING PROP FOR USE BY THE OWENSBORO FIRE DEPARTMENT; NO MATCH IS REQUIRED BY THE CITY.
The Owensboro Fire Department seeks to file an application for a FY2026 Training Facility Grant through the Kentucky Fire Commission in an approximate amount of $4,000.00, the proceeds of which will be utilized by the City of Owensboro to purchase a Class B Burn Pan Prop; no match required.

Consider Municipal Order 9-2025 entitled A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED OF EASEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF OWENSBORO AND AT&T GRANTING A PERPETUAL EASEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING, OPERATING AND MAINTAINING FACILITIES FOR CABLE SERVICES ACROSS PROPERTY LOCATED AT 614 WEST 3RD STREET.
AT&T has requested a perpetual easement for the purpose of installing, maintaining and operating facilities across a portion of property located at 614 West 3rd Street.

OPEN PUBLIC FORUM
Members of the audience may address the Board of Commissioners on any matter of public concern that was not on the agenda. Comments are limited to issues within the scope and responsibility of the Commission. Commission meetings are held to conduct city business for the benefit of Owensboro citizens and taxpayers.
At this time, anyone who wishes to address the City Commission please make their way to the podium to be recognized. Speakers must state their name and address for the Clerk’s record, and limit their remarks to three (3) minutes or less. Since the item is not on the agenda, no response is required from staff or the Board of Commissioners. The Mayor reserves the right to extend time to the speaker.
