Board Chair Ann Meyer called the meeting to order at 6:32pm.

Board members shared the following accolades:

• HHS senior Sarah Yu was selected to serve on the KDE Commissioner's Student Advisory Council


• Boys Track was state runners-up


• Softball team were regional winners


• Girls Tennis had success with three playing at state

Congratulations to Jake Welch for his state championship win in the 400-Meter Dash with a time of 49.3. Jake also placed 3rd in state for both the 100- and 200-Meter Dash races.

The Board recognized and congratulated Jake for his accomplishments and presented him with a Certificate of Achievement and a "Champion" t-shirt.

Congratulations to Rilen Pinkston for his state championship win in the Pole Vault with a vault of 13' 6".

Congratulations to the HHS Theatre Department whose production of the musical "Crazy for You" won seven Cappies awards for the following categories:

• Lead Actor in a Musical – Jameson Zoller


• Comic Actor in a Musical – Connor Defevers


• Female Dancer – Emmie Brewer


• Stage Management and Crew – Rowan Cavanaugh, John Dougherty, and Bradley Groneck


• Light Design – Nate Culyer, Charlie Kreyling, KJ Langlinais and Crew

The Board recognized and congratulated the students, giving each a "Champion" t-shirt.

Brian Robinson presented Bill Bradford with a Tradition of Excellence award, recognizing and thanking him for his outstanding service, leadership and commitment to our district. 

Two community members addressed the board with comments regarding remarks made at previous meetings.
