• Morel Pay App 34 - MES

Order #1909 - Motion Passed:  Approval of Pay Application #34 in the amount of $129,997.00 to Morel Construction for the Moyer Elementary Renovation project passed with a motion by Mrs. Lisa Duckworth and a second by Mr. Bradley Fennell.

Jerry Wissman provided the Board with an update on the project stating that it is currently out for bid and that the pre-bid meeting was very well attended by contractors and sub-contractors.

Approval is needed to request a waiver of the regulation prohibiting the use of inserts for volleyball poles in wooden gymnasium floors. We believe a system which employs floor sleeves allow us to purchase equipment that is more easily stored and presents fewer tripping hazards for students when in use.

Bill Bradford presented and discussed the 2018 state assessment scores.

Jamee Flaherty presented and reviewed the results of this year's Brigance Screening.

• Fall 2018 STAR Renaissance Report

Bill Bradford presented and reviewed the fall Star benchmark report.

Bill Bradford shared information about the Big "FT" Idea Search initiative where faculty and staff have been asked to participate by submitting ideas to make our district even better. 

Karen Cheser and Bill Bradford gave an update on the status of Portrait of a Graduate and shared the first video. We will have five additional videos - one for each Portrait of a Graduate competency.

Karen Cheser and Bill Bradford updated the Board on the status of this project and shared that we anticipate taking occupancy of the 1st floor space by November 1.
