Approve Contracts with Red Rover and Tyler Technologies/Munis
Red Rover (HR software replacing PowerSchool) and Tyler Technologies/Munis (HR/Finance software) are included in the consent agenda this month as major enhancements the district needs. With these changes, our staff will greatly benefit from efficiencies such as improved Absence/Sub management, hiring/onboarding, digital timecards/leave requests, and online access to paystubs and W-2s. Central Office staff will benefit from digital storage inside our existing software for employee files and accounts payable viewing PO, invoices, and check documents digitally.

Review and Approve EIS Advanced Coursework and Accelerated Plan
The plan is designed to comply with House Bill 190 (2025), which mandates that all Kentucky school districts establish policies by grade level for students in grades 4–12 to promote advanced coursework and accelerated learning in core subjects: language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. This requirement ensures equitable access to rigorous academic opportunities and aligns with state statutes for college and career readiness. The board adopted a policy in July and this is the follow up plan. This plan creates a basic framework so that each individual school can create SBDM policies to support and implement the district plan.
The purpose of the plan is to:
- Provide clear strategies and service delivery options for advanced learning across grade bands (elementary, middle, and high school).
- Identify and support students through a body-of-evidence approach using assessment data, teacher recommendations, and student interest.
- Offer multiple pathways such as AP, dual credit, honors, enrichment clusters, and acceleration to maximize student potential.
- Ensure equity and excellence by removing barriers and promoting open enrollment for any student interested in rigorous coursework.
- Communicate benefits and opportunities to families and stakeholders while monitoring effectiveness through annual reviews.
In short, the plan serves as both a policy framework and an implementation guide to guarantee that all students have access to challenging educational experiences that foster academic growth and future readiness.
