4.B. Athlete of the Month - Caleb Crutchfield
Rationale

Congratulations to the April 2023 Athlete of the Month - Caleb Crutchfield!

Dayton High School would like to recognize Caleb Crutchfield as the Athlete of the Month. Caleb has been an outstanding role model for younger athletes throughout both the football season and the track off-season. Caleb has been competing in the long jump, triple-jump, and hurdles in both the indoor and outdoor track seasons as well as mentoring other athletes in the weight room to prepare for the upcoming football season. Caleb is one of the first athletes at practice and his performance in the NKU Young Scholars Academy shows his dedication to his academics as well as athletics. Caleb is an exceptional student-athlete and we are proud to recognize him in the month of April.

4.C. Artist of the Month - Emily Hall
Rationale

Congratulations to the April 2023 Artist of the Month - Emily Hall!

From Nick Simon:

Emily is one of the silent leaders in the band. She is always working hard to ensure her performance will be great. Switching instruments is not always easy, yet when Emily switched to French Horn from Trumpet, she took the time to figure out the little differences to be able to play her new instrument. Emily is also a student I can count on, and I am very excited to see how she grows over the next couple of years.
