4.C. Athlete of the Month
Rationale

We would like to recognize our Athlete of the Month - David Puchta

David Puchta is this January's Athlete of the Month. David is an exceptional bowler and has had a great season thus far. His average has gone up a total of 17 points from last year and he has been a top bowler for our squad this entire season. David has never missed a practice or a match. He shows up on time, he encourages his teammates, and he always gives it his all. Although very quiet, David leads by example and plays this sport with dignity and honor. He is well-liked by both his teammates and competitors, which makes his coaches very proud. Congratulations David!

 

4.D. Artist of the Month
Rationale

We would like to congratulate our Artist of the Month - Angel Mason

Angel Mason is an outstanding artist here at Dayton High School. She is involved in all aspects of the program, as well as taking many college classes. She is a leader within our band, taking many roles and helping many other students. Angel will be pursuing a Music Education degree, and it is the perfect fit. Please congratulate Angel Mason on Artist of the Month!

Rationale

The extra service/stipends - district wide for the 2018-2019 school year is attached. 

There is one addition *Community Connector - Preschool Grant*

At the time the other stipends were approved - we did not know if we would receive the preschool grant or not.  This stipend is being paid from the preschool partnership grant.

KDE has received two applications.  They are waiting to make sure no additional applications arrive via “snail mail” to their office.  They will then review the applications to ensure the applicants meet all legal requirements for service.  Finally, they will schedule interviews with the two applicants. They will notify Superintendent Brewer when those interviews will take place.
