Star Proficiency Rates Fall 2025

All Covington students K-12 engaged in Star assessments this fall. These assessments are used to gain an accurate view of students' abilities in reading and math, so that instruction can be planned to meet student needs and to monitor progress over time. This document shows the proficiency rates in Reading, Math, Reading CBM, Math CBM, and Early Literacy for the district and for each school.

School Accountability was made public on 11/19/25. The data is broken down by school and by our elementary schools as a whole. There is also a document that shows the highlights of the district and next steps to address our areas of growth.

This data from the National Clearinghouse shows college enrollment data from the Class of 2023 and the Class of 2024.

Fundraiser Request ~ Holmes High School Band/Chorus

The Band/Chorus would like to partner with Tom's Coffee truck to provide drinks to concert and event attendees for a profit percentage. The funds would be used to purchase items for awards night, Senior Night and the Homecoming Parade.

Pursuant to Policy 02.423, School Council Meetings (SBDM), a copy of the minutes of each council meeting shall be forwarded by the Principal to the Superintendent who shall keep the Board informed of the council actions.

Holmes Middle School ~ A River Cities School of Innovation

The "Innovative School Bill" for Kentucky refers to Senate Bill (SB) 207, known as the "School Innovation Act," which became law in 2025 after a legislative override of the governor's veto. This law allows public schools and districts to apply for exemptions (waivers) from certain state education laws and regulations to implement innovative educational strategies aimed at improving student academic achievement.
