Public Comment
Mr. Brandon Blackburn spoke about the junior high winter formal and the process for attempting to schedule a date that will work best for all parties. Potential dates currently being discussed are in March.

Community Grant Report
Mr. Brian Hobbs (digital learning coach) reported on some of the activities of the DLCs including information on activities with the deeper learning program in conjunction with The Holler and how to view presentations from teachers at PHS on the website. Mr. Hobbs shared that 7th grade class officer elections were coming up in addition to opportunities being provided for flex professional development opportunities for teachers.
Mrs. Dawn Stewart shared information about preparation for a reality store experience for 12th graders at PHS in addition to information about ongoing Leader in Me lessons for the 8th grade.

Mr. Blackburn shared the updated budget spreadsheet for the council’s viewing.

Mr. Blackburn shared the principal’s report to the council as well as consulted the council on the updated fundraising schedule for school programs which can be viewed on the school’s website.
