I. Call to Order
Discussion

Mr. Booher called meeting to order at 4:30.

II. Public Comment
Discussion

Mr. Blackburn asked about WYMT televising our football games since seating will be limited.  Mr. Booher responded with the different media outlets that we have spoken with to try and put the games out pay-per-view.  So far BitSource and Mountaintop News have possibly been able to make an App for viewing, but that limits others (Gearheart, WYMT, etc.) from being able to show it.  We would like to have all media outlets equal access to be able to show the games.  Also, we are trying to get the student tickets paid by Kent Thacker.  Mr. Blackburn was concerned that once you account for students, parents, and opposing team, there will be no tickets left for general admission.  The Health Department has approved 1,000 at football everyone must wear a mask.  If people are non-compliant they can stop the game until masks are worn or ask people to leave. Senior Nights are on, but not scheduled at this time.

Student Orientation went very well.  It was good to have students back in the classroom for the first time in months.

Start of school was online, as of Friday we had only 13 students who has no contact with 3 or more of their teachers for the first week. Many students came to the building this week for office hours to get caught up.

8th grade graduation-Since we were on red schedule and not hybrid, we were able to have graduation in groups of 10 at a time with 4 guests per student on Aug 21 with a make up date of Sept 11.  75% came on the original date.

All the fire alarms have been inspected and will be monthly

We have SACS accreditation in October.  We will divide into committees to get the work completed.

We are anticipating coming back to school on yellow schedule on Sept. 21.  Mrs. King has asked why are we going against the governor's recommendation and Mr. Booher said it was a board decision and since we have less cases than central Kentucky and our local health department and local doctors have approved the decision. The teachers, Stewart, King, and Hobbs--expressed reservations about being prepared to keeping the students safe and following all the regulations. Mr. Booher suggested that we reply to the email from the superintendent with our concerns.

Boys' Gold won all A region championship and Cam Roberts won the individual.

Chelsea Taylor resigned as the Dance Coach.  Applications will be taken until Friday.  Mr. Booher will get a committee and consult with the council next Friday on the hire.

Fall Break will be October 1 and 2.
