Consider Ordinance 10-2025 entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE III, SECTION 3-57 OF THE OWENSBORO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE ENTERTAINMENT DESTINATION CENTER TO ALLOW IT TO BE ENJOYED AT ALL TIMES ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE SOLD.
The City created an Entertainment Destination Center (EDC) in the Owensboro riverfront area, which has been successful and popular with visitors in downtown Owensboro. The City now seeks to allow visitors to enjoy the EDC at all times alcohol is sold by establishments within the EDC.

OPEN PUBLIC FORUM
Members of the audience may address the Board of Commissioners on any matter of public concern that was not on the agenda. Comments are limited to issues within the scope and responsibility of the Commission. Commission meetings are held to conduct city business for the benefit of Owensboro citizens and taxpayers.
At this time, anyone who wishes to address the City Commission please make their way to the podium to be recognized. Speakers must state their name and address for the Clerk’s record, and limit their remarks to three (3) minutes or less. Since the item is not on the agenda, no response is required from staff or the Board of Commissioners. The Mayor reserves the right to extend time to the speaker.
