Board Chair Ann Meyer called the meeting to order at 6:32pm.

Board members shared the following accolades and information:

• Despite the early rain and heat, we had a lot of district participation in the annual 4th of July parade as well as the YMCA Firecracker 5K. 


• Five FCCLA students participated in the National competition where they earned silver award status in each of four events.


• Two TSA students participated in the National conference, both finishing in the Top 10 in the nation.


• The CAST summer theatre production of Chicago final performances are July 22-24.


• Keith Faust and John Gesenhues were welcomed to their new roles as Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning and Principal at Woodfill Elementary School, respectively.

Two parents addressed the Board with their comments about high school graduation.

Order #2349 - Motion Passed:  Adoption of the proposed changes to Policy 03.175 - Retirement and 08.113 - Graduation Requirements as presented for a 2nd Reading passed with a motion by Mr. Jeff Beach and a second by Mr. Bradley Fennell.

Order #2350 - Motion Passed:  Approval to opt out of participation in the Federal Lunch Program for the 2022-23 school year passed with a motion by Mrs. Lisa Duckworth and a second by Mrs. Julie Kuhnhein.
