1. Approve Minutes from July 22, 2025

Motion Passed: passed with a motion by Mrs. Bethanie Curtis and a second by Mrs. Michelle Calhoun and the consensus of the council. }

2. Approve SBDM Budget

Motion Passed: passed with a motion by Mrs. Bethanie Curtis and a second by Mrs. Cathy Oliver and the consensus of the council. }

3. Title One Budget

Decreased Title Budget for the year discussed. 

4. Review Parent Engagement Policy- Discuss Title One Compact

Council reviewed Parent Engagement Policy and discussed Title One Compact and the return of the compacts.  

5. Review Staffing Policy

Council discussed the staffing policy, reviewed wording for better understanding. Change as needed. 

6. Staffing and Room Changes

Due to numbers of students increasing, staffing and room changes have been done to better the flow and instruction of students and their needs.  There have been room changes for SPED, ALC, TAG, and Regular Education Teacher Instruction due to the increase in student numbers enrolled. Moves were discussed and an updated map for emergency management have been done. 

7. CHAMPS- Review New Policy Changes- 1st Reading

Motion Passed: passed with a motion by Mrs. Michelle Calhoun and a second by Mrs. Cathy Oliver and the consensus of the council. }

First reading of new policy done.  Discussed teacher and staff involvement in creating the new plan/wording to make it easier to understand and clear expectations met.  

8. Dismiss

Motion Passed: passed with a motion by Mrs. Bethanie Curtis and a second by Mrs. Michelle Calhoun and the consensus of the council. }
