Rationale

PBIS Implementation Recognition - Savannah Boone

Three schools in the district received recognition from the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative for implementing PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) with fidelity. All three schools received Bronze recognition for implementing Tier 1 behavioral interventions with fidelity. The three schools were LaRue County High School, LaRue County Middle School, and Abraham Lincoln Elementary School.

A student at LaRue County Middle School requires a shortened school day due to limited tolerance of a full school day. The student has been homeschooled in the past and has struggled to attend an entire school day. The student attends outside therapies. The student's therapist/medical provider recommends a shortened school day. The student will gradually attend for longer periods of time until they can tolerate a full school day.
