Approve the AP Report with the consent agenda

The School Facilities Construction Commission (SFCC) is making an Offer of Assistance in the amount of $19,068 for education technology.  Acceptance of this Offer of Assistance commits the school district to adhere to the statutes and regulations of the SFCC and KDE governing the Education Technology Funding Program.  This is the first offer of assistance for FY2020.  This offer can be accepted by matching funds equally, escrowed for up to 3 years, or rejected.

Bluegrass Professional Counseling has agreed to provide mental health counseling to identified students of LaRue County Schools at no cost to the district.  The agreement has been reviewed by our Board attorney, Tom Claycomb. A copy of the agreement is attached for your review.

ISSUE:  Award Contract for Summer Feeding Bus Remodel.

BACKGROUND:   We must award a contract to procure the Summer Feeding Bus Remodel. We are adding air conditioning to the bus, steps out the back, an awning off the side, new flooring and lights, wheel caps, and a television. The bid closed on 11/13/2019, there was only one company who turned in a bid. The company who turned in a bid is Final Finish, 382 Gardner Lane Rd., Morgantown, KY 42261.

RECOMMENDATION:   The Board open, and pending everything is in order, award the contract to Final Finish.
