The Kentucky Governor’s Office of Early Childhood is offering a focus on family engagement grant opportunity. The grant is an extension of the LaRue County Early Childhood Council Grant that was awarded for the 2019-2020 school year. This grant will provide school readiness resources and materials to families of young children

The recommendation to approve the Bid Results for the LCHS Football Stadium / Greenhouse Project passed

After having a chance to view the bids, if the board feels they have enough info they can decide, or if they want to wait, we can award the bids at the July 10^th meeting.

Bids for the LaRue County HS Phase I Gymnasium/Football Stadium/Greenhouse project were opened on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.  The attached BG-1 is a reflection of those bid amounts.

We received approval for our Capital Fund Requests and have $578,213.00 on the BG-1 in lieu of General Fund cash.  This amount will cover Alternate #1.  (Alternates #2 and #6 are included in Alternate #1)  Unfortunately, it is not enough to cover Alternate #3.  Alternates #4 and #5 can be covered with bonded funds.  We do not recommend Alternate #7 due to being too expensive for a brand name.
