Food Service Washer and Dryers
ISSUE: LaRue County Public Schools needs to surplus two sets of washers and dryers
BACKGROUND: We have a washer and dryer set at both Hodgenville Elementary and LaRue County High School that need to be replaced, due to age. The washer at the high school flooded the kitchen on Friday, February 21, 2019. Upon further inspection and review, it has been determined that replacing the set at the High School and Hodgenville Elementary would be most cost effective. They are both over ten years old, we have no record of either set in Munis. If another department within the school system needs them, we will donate them to that department; otherwise, we will either sell them at the next auction or scrap the ones that do not work.
RECOMMENDATION: The Board authorize the surplus of each set of washer and dryer at Hodgenville Elementary and LaRue County High School.
Respectfully submitted by Stephanie Utley
