The annual Head Start/Early Head Start training for Board members will include:

• The duties and responsibilities of the Board members as the Head Start/Early Head Start governing body; and 
• The role of the Board members in meeting the federal regulation and standards related to program governance.

Chris Watkins from Western Kentucky University Training/Technical Assistance Services will facilitate the training.

Board members will be provided the resource book, A Road Map to Success for Head Start & Early Head Start Decision-Makers, which will guide the discussion.
