Work Session: Magnet Review for 2013-14 and Beyond
The following staff members will make a presentation and answer Board members' questions concerning Magnet Review for 2013-14 and Beyond:
- Jack Jacobs, executive director; Student Assignment, Health, and Safety;
- Barbara Dempsey, specialist, Parent Assistance Center;
- Kathy McGinnis, coordinator, Magnet Programs;
- Bernadette Hamilton, director; Optional, Magnet, and Advance Programs;
- Ralph Stephens, demographics analyst;
- John Collopy, director, Financial Planning and Management;
- Dr. Dena Dossett, District Planning; and
- Rick Caple, director, Transportation.
The agenda will include a discussion of the following topics:
- Magnet Review
- Definitions of Terms
- Information about elementary, middle, and high scool magnet schools, magnet programs, ad optional programs; and
- Baseline Data.
