District Facilities Local Planning Committee Meeting
The District Facilities Local Planning Committee is calling a special meeting of the Local Planning Committee to be held at 5:00 p.m. ET (4:00 p.m. CT) on October 27, 2026, at C.B. Young Service Center (Conference Room A & B).
The purpose of this meeting is to review and vote to approve Draft District Facilities Plan (DFP) with Finding No. 01 and engage in public discussions.
The agenda is as follows:
I. Call to Order
II. Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting
III. Explanation of the Finding Process
IV. Review of the Proposed Finding
V. Vote to Approve Draft District Facility Plan with Finding No. 01 and Submit to JCPS Board of Education for Approval
VI. Future Meeting Date
VII. Adjournment
Any and all matters incidental to and supplementary of the foregoing may also be taken up, considered and acted upon at the meeting.
The committee serves as an advisory committee and may not make decisions or take action that binds the full Jefferson County Board of Education.
This meeting will be conducted via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.823 and KRS 61.826. The primary location for this meeting and where all members can be seen and heard by the public will be C.B. Young Jr. Service Center, 3001 Crittenden Drive. Members of the committee are permitted to attend in person or via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.826.
