The Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) Superintendent Screening Committee is calling a special meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the VanHoose Education Center, 3332 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky.

The purpose of this meeting is for the JCPS Superintendent Screening Committee to fulfill its responsibilities under KRS 160.352 by collaborating and developing recommendations for the selection of the next superintendent.

The agenda is as follows:

1. Welcome
2. Approval of Minutes
3. Executive Session to Have Discussions That May Lead to the Appointment of an Individual Employee Pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(f)
4. Possible Consideration of a Motion
5. Adjournment

Any and all matters incidental to and supplementary to the foregoing may also be taken up, considered, and acted upon at the meeting.

Portions of this meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(f) of the KY Open Meetings Act.

This meeting will be conducted via video teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.823 and KRS 61.826. The primary location for this meeting and where all members can be seen and heard by the public will be Stewart Auditorium, VanHoose Education Center. Members are permitted to attend in person or via video teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.826. Members of the public may attend in person.
