The Chair of the Board of Education is calling a special meeting of the Board of Education due to the likely presence of a quorum at the following events on Tuesday, May 20, 2025:

• 1:00 p.m.: JCPS Center for Professional Learning, 3903 Atkinson Square Drive
• 4:00 p.m.: JCPS Center for Professional Learning, 3903 Atkinson Square Drive
• 7:00 p.m.: Stopher Elementary School, 14417 Aiken Road

These events include opportunities related to the JCPS Superintendent Search:

• 1:00 p.m. - JCPS Center for Professional Learning: The Superintendent Search Advisory Committee will engage in discussions with the two final superintendent candidates.
• 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - JCPS Center for Professional Learning: Community members and JCPS staff are invited to ask questions of the finalists.
• 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Stopher Elementary School: Community members and JCPS staff are invited to ask questions of the finalists.

Please note that no official business of the Board of Education will be conducted during these events.

Board members, Committee members, and members of the public will attend all events in person.
