The JCPS Superintendent Screening Committee is calling a special meeting to be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at The Muhammad Ali Center, 144 North 6th Street, Louisville, Kentucky. Please note that this meeting will recess at the end of the day on Monday, May 5, 2025, and will reconvene on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at the same location.

The purpose of this meeting is for Board members to convene in Executive Session with the JCPS Superintendent Screening Committee to discuss and interview aspirants in the superintendent search and have discussions that may lead to the appointment of an individual employee pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(f).

This meeting will be conducted as a joint session of the Jefferson County Board of Education and the Superintendent Screening Committee. During the meeting, the Board and the Committee may convene jointly and separately for discussion, consistent with the provisions of KRS 61.810(1)(f).

Portions of this meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(f) of the KY Open Meetings Act.

This meeting will be conducted in person. The primary location for this meeting and where all members can be seen and heard by the public, will be The Muhammad Ali Center, 144 North 6th Street.

The meeting will recess and reconvene at 3:30 p.m. on May 6th at this same location.

Following the recess on May 5th, the meeting will reconvene.
