I.
Call to Order
Portions of the meeting will be closed to the public as provided for under KRS 61.810(1)(e) and KRS 61.810(1)(c) of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act.
The Regular Meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. as scheduled. These meetings will be conducted via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.823 and KRS 61.826. The primary location for these meetings and where all members can be seen and heard by the public will be Stewart Auditorium, VanHoose Education Center. Members are permitted to attend in-person or via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.826. Members of the public may attend in-person or watch the live-stream of the meeting via the following link: JCBE MEETING VIDEO.
II.
Enter into Executive Session per KRS 61.810(1)(e) and KRS 61.810(1)(c) of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act
Order #2022-173 - Motion Passed: A motion to enter into Executive Session as permitted by KRS 61.810(1)(e), and KRS 61.810(1)(c) of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act, for the purpose of discussions relating to collective bargaining negotiations with employee represented groups and discussions relating to pending litigation passed with a motion by Mr. Joseph Marshall and a second by Dr. Christopher Kolb.
III.
Adjourn from Executive Session
Order #2022-174 - Motion Passed: A motion that the Board of Education adjourn from Executive Session and return to Open Session passed with a motion by Mrs. Linda Duncan and a second by Dr. Christopher Kolb.
IV.
Possible Consideration of Motions Regarding Pending Litigation and/or Collective Bargaining Negotiations
Order #2022-175 - Motion Passed: A motion to authorize Board Counsel to effectuate a settlement in the matter identified in closed session and pursuant to the terms discussed in closed session passed with a motion by Ms. Sarah McIntosh and a second by Mr. James Craig.

Adjournment
Order #2022-176 - Motion Passed: A motion to adjourn the special meeting at 6:32 p.m. passed with a motion by Mr. James Craig and a second by Mrs. Linda Duncan.
