The Chair of the Board of Education is calling a special meeting of the Board of Education to be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the VanHoose Education Center, 3332 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky. The purpose of this meeting is for Board members to have discussions regarding pending litigation.

Portions of this meeting will be closed to the public pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(c) of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act

The Regular Meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. as scheduled. These meetings will be conducted via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.823 and KRS 61.826. The primary location for these meetings and where all members can be seen and heard by the public will be Stewart Auditorium, VanHoose Education Center. Members are permitted to attend in-person or via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.826. Order #2022-121 - Motion Passed:  A motion to authorize Board counsel to effectuate a settlement in the matter identified in closed session and pursuant to the terms discussed in closed session passed with a motion by Mr. James Craig and a second by Mrs. Linda Duncan.
