Special Meeting: Executive Session
I. Call to Order
Rationale

This meeting will be conducted via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.823 and KRS 61.826. The primary location for this meeting and where all members can be seen and heard by the public will be Stewart Auditorium in the VanHoose Education Center. Members of the Board are permitted to attend in-person or via video-teleconference pursuant to KRS 61.826. Members of the public may attend in-person or watch the live-stream.

II. Enter into Closed Executive Session for Preliminary and Formative Discussions Regarding the Superintendent's Evaluation and to have Discussions Relating to Proposed Litigation
Rationale

The purpose of this executive session if for preliminary and formative discussions relating to the 2021–22 Evaluation of the Superintendent pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(k) and KRS 156.557, and to have discussions relating to proposed litigation pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(c) of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act.

Recommended Motion

A motion to enter executive session to have preliminary and formative discussions relating to the 2021–22 Evaluation of the Superintendent pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(k) and KRS 156.557, and to have discussions relating to proposed litigation pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(c).

Order #2022-79 - Motion Passed:  A motion to enter executive session to have preliminary and formative discussions relating to the 2021–22 Evaluation of the Superintendent pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(k) and KRS 156.557, and to have discussions relating to proposed litigation pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(c) passed with a motion by Mr. James Craig and a second by Mrs. Linda Duncan.
