Report on 2020 Legislative Agenda
11 12 19 Work Session Audio
The 2020 Regular Session of the Kentucky General Assembly convenes on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Jefferson County Public Schools functions within the statutory framework established by General Assembly, so the actions of the legislature have a significant impact on the district’s work.
The Board will hear a report regarding the legislative and political landscape in Kentucky and the potential issues to be included in the 2020 JCPS Legislative Agenda.
The 2020 Legislative Agenda will be an action item during the December 10, 2019, Board meeting.
