3. 2019 KSBA Annual Policy Update
Each year, the Kentucky School Boards Association sends to school districts suggested changes to Board policies based on the actions of the Kentucky General Assembly, as well as changes to state administrative regulations and federal law.
For 2019, KSBA has sent 44 policies for updating. Part one of this agenda has 28 of those policies. Part two has 10 policies. Six additional policies will be brought forward at the next Board Policy Committee meeting.
KRS 160.340 requires board policies be kept up to date with annual amendments by August 15.
