Kentucky’s New Accountability System Draft Proposal

This work session will provide an overview of Kentucky's new accountability model draft proposal. The overview will include a review of the goals, system components, and accountability rating system, with a particular focus on the new features.
The accountability model was approved by the Kentucky Board of Education in August 2017 and will be submitted for review and approval to the federal government in September. If approved, the first year of implementation will be the 2018-19 school year.
