Rationale

It is recommended the Board approve the following activity fundraiser(s).

1.  GES, PTA, Valentines Sucker Grams, proceeds will be used for school needs provided by PTA. 
2.  HES, Lifetouch School Pictures, proceeds will benefit the students of HES.
3.  JSES, PTA, Nothing Bundt Cakes, proceeds will be used for field day supplies and shirts.
4.  JSES, PTA, Chicken Salad Chicks, proceeds will be used for table top umbrellas for outside classrooms.

8.G. Approval for Schools to Apply for Grants
Rationale

It is recommended the Board approve for schools to apply for the following grant(s).

1.  BSMS, KY Educator Wellness Space Student Design Challenge, $1,000, to be used for students to create a
     social emotional wellness room for staff members.
2.  PES, Explore Learning Frax Subscription, $1,300, to be used in the math program to enhance foundational
     understandings of fractions.
3.  PES Courtyard of Curiosity, Hillshire Farm Community Service Grant, to be used for the Courtyard of
     Curiosity Program.
4.  MNHHS, Farm and Ranch Family Assistance Grant, $5,000, to be used to host farmer appreciation event at
     the county fair.

8.H. Approval to Award Bid for Three (3) Surplus Stick Welders
Rationale

It is recommended the Board approve to award the bid for three (3) surplus 2017 Miller Thunderbolt SMAW 150 Amp Stick Welders to Jerry Russ for $300 each.
