Hot Lunch Served Daily in Two County Schools

    • Pruitt School and Sunnyside School pupils decided that if city schools could have hot lunches at dinner, they could manage to do the same thing.
    • The editor of the School News, when told of these one-room school hot lunches, stated that if there was another such school in the State, he never heard of it, and he believed that Henderson County could justly boast of having the only one-room school in the State where hot lunches were prepared and served.
    • It was called an innovation.
    • Some of the little fellows exclaimed, “Gee, Ain’t it Good!”
