Order #170 - Motion Passed:  A motion to approve the minutes from the 4/20/15 Special Meeting Public Hearing and the 4/20/15 Regular Meeting passed with a motion by Mrs. Jennifer Keach and a second by Dr. Sally Sugg.

Order #171 - Motion Passed:  A motion to enter into executive session at 9:19 a.m. pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(f) for purposes of discussions which might lead to the expulsion of a student for violation of board policy passed with a motion by Mrs. Jennifer Keach and a second by Mrs. Lisa Baird.

Order #172 - Motion Passed:  A motion to move out of executive session at 9:28 a.m. passed with a motion by Mrs. Jennifer Keach and a second by Dr. Sally Sugg.

Order #173 - Motion Passed:  The Board of Education reviewed and accepted the Waiver of hearing and acceptance of the disciplinary consequences recommended by the administration signed by the parent of Student 04302015. The Board accepted the recommendation that Student 04302015 be expelled, with services to be provided in the Central Academy night school program for one (1) calendar year, or until requirements for graduation have been met, as result of the student's violation of District Policy 09.423 Use of Alcohol, Drugs and Other Prohibited Substances. Student 04302015 must complete a Drug and Alcohol Needs Assessment by a certified drug and alcohol counselor; Student 04302015 must successfully complete the program prescribed by this Needs Assessment; Student 04302015 will be subjected to random drug screens for the remainder of the student's school career; and Student 04302015 will be placed in CA Night School for one calendar year or until graduation requirements have been met passed with a motion by Dr. Sally Sugg and a second by Mrs. Jennifer Keach.

Order #174 - Motion Passed:  A motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:31 a.m. passed with a motion by Dr. Sally Sugg and a second by Mrs. Jennifer Keach.
