Motion Passed:  Approval to go into executive session to discuss student hearing and land passed with a motion by Mr. Byron Nelson and a second by Ms. Kay Sharon.

Motion Passed:  The motion was made to expel student 07-A for the remainder of the 2006-2007 school year. The student will receive educational services through the Hardin County Day Treatment program. Upon successfully completing the Hardin County Day Treatment program, he/she will be allowed to enroll at Brown Street Alternative School but not prior to August 2007. The Board requests that Mr. Lewis inform the Board of his/her behavior at Day Treatment and Brown Street by June of 2008. If he/she successfully performed at Day Treatment and Brown Street, the Board will make a decision on whether or not to allow him/her to enroll as a sophomore at North Hardin High School. Approval to expel student 07-A with the above conditions passed with a motion by Mr. Byron Nelson and a second by Ms. Kay Sharon.

Motion Passed:  Approval of the 2006-2007 tax rates to include the Growth Nickel as follows: Real Property - 50.6 cents per $100 Personal Property - 51.2 cents per $100 Motor Vehicle - 54.0 cents per $100 Gross Utility Receipts Tax - 3% Further, the Board will exempt the tangible property of aircraft and watercraft passed with a motion by Mr. Joseph Fowler and a second by Mr. John Emary.
