Order #10835 - Motion Passed:  Chairperson Charlie Wise allowed each visitor signed up to address the board three minutes to speak. Ms. Carla Breeding, Ms. Regina Boone, Ms. Michelle Richardson, and Ms. Brittany Froedge addressed the board with concerns over returning to school in-person. Ms. Mollie Thompson and Ms. Kelli Yates addressed the board in favor of returning to school in-person. The board also had a considerable conversation about the concerns of their constituents of returning to school in-person versus the recommendation of the governor to begin on NTI. Approval to begin school in-person on August 24, 2020 passed with a motion by Mr. Charlie Wise and a second by Ms. Dawn Logsdon Johnson.
