IV. STUDENT SERVICES ACTIONS
IV.A. Approve selection of 2021-2022 school calendar.
IV.B. Approve the use of Emergency Certified Substitute Teachers for the 2021/2022 school year.
IV.C. Award the bid for district depository services for the period of 7/1/2021 through 6/30/2023 to German American Bank.
IV.D. Approve assurances to participate in the ESSER II State Set Aside Fund 2021-22.
IV.E. Discussion of Senate Bill 128: Supplemental School Year Program and possible action on applications received by May 1st.
IV.F. Approve job description for the classified position of Speech Language Pathologist.
IV.G. Approve salary schedules for the 2020-2021 school year for the classified positions of Speech Language Pathologist and Mental Health Counselor.
IV.H. Approve to request school security funds of $61,453 to be used to purchase custom blackout shades for HES, GHS and GMS and a district camera server.
IV.I. Approve request to bid bus maintenance, fuel, and oil for the 2021/2022 school year.
IV.J. Approve district applications and/or participation in the following state and federal programs for the 2021/2022 school year: IDEA (Preschool & Basic); State Flex Focus Grants – Preschool, Professional Development, Safe Schools, ESS, and Instructional Resources (Textbooks); Gifted and Talented; Title III - Limited English Proficiency Grant; Title I; Title IV - Part A and Part B; Title V - Rural and Low Income; Community Based Work Transition Program; Title II, Part A - Teacher Quality; Title I, Part C - Education of Migratory Children; Migrant Program Grant; Impact Aid; 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant; Title I, Part C – Perkins Career and Technical Education; National School Lunch Program; School Breakfast Program; Summer Food Service Program; USDA Commodity Program; Afterschool Snack Program.
IV.K. Approve donation from Barren County Fiscal Court to Glasgow Middle School in the amount of $1,000.
IV.L. Approve donation from TJ Samson Community Hospital to GMS and GHS for Tobacco Prevention in the amount of $500.00.
IV.M. Approve donation from TJ Regional Hospital to Glasgow High School Marketing and Media Department in the amount of $500.
IV.N. Declare former serving line at GPA as Surplus.
